  • Medora Harvest Fund - Community members contribute funds to provide organically grown produce to our neighbors experiencing a financial need due to health or job related crises.  This fund is a project of LESSON, but the tax-deductible contributions to the Medora Harvest Fund are maintained in a separate account.

  • "Expert in Sustainable Agriculture Speaks to Eager Audience" -- LESSON is extremely proud to have been a co-sponsor of expert organic farmer Michael Ableman's visit to Delmarva on March 5, 2008.  More than 100 people, including almost two dozen farmers, heard Mr. Ableman's challenges and triumphs as a forerunner in the conservation and sustainable agriculture movement.  His experiences as a farmer, non-profit organizer, educator, and consultant were inspiring to all who attended.
