LESSON grew out of a local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program, but is a separate and independent non-profit organization.

LESSON was created by members who wanted to share with others what they have learned about the value of sustainable agriculture, organic growing practices and buying locally.

LESSON seeks partnerships and the support of other members of the community who share our concern about how and where our food is produced and reducing the use of harmful pesticides in food production.

LESSON benefits from the knowledge, experience and commitment to the principles of sustainable, organic farming demonstrated by Jay Martin, owner of Provident Organic Farm, who serves as advisor to the LESSON Board.

LESSON is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible.

LESSON is a volunteer-based organization.  All donated funds are used directly for our activities.  We have no paid staff.

Meet the officers, directors and advisors of the LESSON board.
